Remove & Install Cam Roller Followers
Start By:a. remove cylinder head assembly
Typical Example1. Remove bolts (1) and (2) from cam roller follower group (3).2. Remove cam roller follower group (3). Repeat the above procedure for cam roller follower group (4). The following steps are for the installation of the cam roller followers.3. Check the condition of all components of the rocker arm assemblies. If any of the parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Be sure pin (5) in the shaft engages the with the slot in the bracket for proper lubrication oil passage alignment.
4. Check the condition of all cam roller follower parts. If any of the parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.5. Apply clean engine oil to and install cam roller follower groups (3) and (4).End By:a. install cylinder head assembly
