Remove bolts (6) and washers from head assembly (5).

Use a suitable lifting device in order to remove rod assembly (7) with head assembly (5) from cylinder assembly (8). The combined weight of rod assembly (7) and head assembly (5) is approximately 490 kg (1080 lb). The weight of cylinder assembly (8) is approximately 390 kg (860 lb).

Remove wear ring (9), plate (10), and ball (11) from rod assembly (7).

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to remove head assembly (5) from rod assembly (7). The weight of head assembly (5) is approximately 61 kg (134 lb).
