TYPICAL EXAMPLE1. Remove four bolts (1) that hold the front support to the frame. Fasten a hoist and lift the front of the engine until the weight is off of the front support.2. Put blocks under the engine at sides of cylinder block on the oil pan plate. Lower the engine on to the blocks.
Do not use the oil pan as a support. Damage to the oil pan will be the result.
3. Remove bolts (3) that hold the front support to the trunnion. Remove engine front support (2).4. Keep the shims with their respective pads on the frame for use at installation.Install Engine Front Support
TYPICAL EXAMPLE1. Put the shims on their respective pads (1) on the frame. If a new engine front support is installed, it will be necessary to make alignment of engine to the transmission case. See ENGINE ALIGNMENT.2. Put front support (2) on the trunnion. Install the four bolts that hold the support to the trunnion.3. Lower the front of the engine. Install the bolts that hold the front support to the frame. Remove the blocks and hoist from the engine.end by:a) install vibration damper and crankshaft pulley
