Use the machine's hydraulics in order to lower the lift arms, as shown. Attach Tooling (B) to tilt lever (10) . Use Tooling (B) in order to move tilt lever (10) into position so that the tilt cylinder can be attached.

Use Tooling (D) in order to lower tilt cylinder (11) into position.
Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to front pin (16) . The weight of front pin (16) is approximately 55 kg (121 lb). Install front pin (16) .

Tooling (A) can be used as a handle in order to install collars (15) . Repeat for the other side.
Install plugs (13) and bolt (14) .
Install bolt (14) . Tighten bolt (14) to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1327 147 lb ft).
Strike collars (15) . Then, tighten bolt (14) to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1327 147 lb ft). Repeat this step until a torque of 1800 200 N m (1327 147 lb ft) is maintained.

Connect grease hose assembly (12) to the rod end of the tilt cylinder.

Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt link (4) . The weight of tilt link (4) is approximately 480 kg (1060 lb). Raise tilt link (4) into position.

Attach a suitable lifting device to rear pin (9) of the tilt link. The weight of rear pin (9) of the tilt link is approximately 50 kg (110 lb). Install rear pin (9) of the tilt link.

Tooling (A) may be used as a handle in order to install collars (8) . Install collars (8) . Install plugs (5) . Install nut (6) and bolt (7) to the rear pin of the tilt link.
Install nut (6) and bolt (7) . Tighten bolt (7) to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1327 147 lb ft).
Strike collars (8) . Then, tighten bolt (7) to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1327 147 lb ft). Repeat this step until a torque of 1800 200 N m (1327 147 lb ft) is maintained.

Connect grease hose assembly (2) and install clip (3) .

Connect grease hose assembly (1) to the rear of the tilt link.
When installing new pins refer to Special Instructions, "994FWheel Loader Assembly Procedure " for the correct lift arm pin break-in procedure.
