9U-7400 Multitach Tool Gp The 9U-7400 Multitach Tool Gp can measure engine rpm from a magnetic pickup on the flywheel housing. The 9U-7400 Multitach Tool Gp also has the ability to measure engine rpm from visual engine parts in rotation.Note: Refer to Special Instruction, NEHS0605 for the operating instructions of the 9U-7400 Multitach Tool Gp and the instructions for the test procedure.The 6V-4950 Speed Pickup is another diagnostic tool accessory that can be used with the 9U-7401 Multitach Tool Gp . The 6V-4950 Speed Pickup can be used on single wall fuel injection lines that are 6 mm (0.25 inch). With these tools, engine speed can be measured quickly with an accuracy of 1 rpm.Note: Refer to Special Instruction, SEHS8029 for the operating instructions of the 6V-4950 Speed Pickup .For the maximum engine operating speed (rpm), refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Emissions Certification Film".
