Note: Inspect the O-ring seals, the seals, and the gaskets. Replace the O-ring seals, the seals, and the gaskets that are worn or damaged.Note: Lubricate O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Install studs (27) to Dimension (X). Dimension (X) is 37.6 2.5 mm (1.5 0.1 inch). Tighten studs (27) to a torque of 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft). Install seal (28).
Install seal (26).
Apply Tooling (B) onto the threads of studs (27).

Apply Loctite 5900 onto surface (X) and surface (Y) of the transmission housing.
