Which Generate This Code:Note: The lift cylinder position sensor is equipped on the 824H and the 826H model machines that have the Automatic Blade Position function.This diagnostic code is associated with the lift cylinder position sensor. The FMI 13 means that the ECM has determined that the signal of the sensor is not within expected limits. The possible causes of this diagnostic code are listed below:
The sensor needs to be calibrated.
The ECM has been flashed with new software.
The sensor has failed.
The ECM has failed.System Response:
The ABP will not function.

If the other diagnostic codes are active, troubleshoot those codes first. Then perform this procedure.Note: Ensure that the diagnostic code of CID 1964 FMI 13 is active before performing this procedure.Test Step 1. CHECK THE CALIBRATION
Perform the necessary adjustment and calibration procedures. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting section of the Service Manual for these procedures.
Observe the status of the CID 1964 FMI 13.Expected Result:The CID 1964 FMI 13 is not active.Results:
OK - The CID 1964 FMI 13 is not active. The calibration corrected the condition that caused the CID 1964 FMI 13. Resume normal operation. Stop.
NOT OK - The CID 1964 FMI 13 is still active.Repair: The diagnostic code is still active. Verify that the correct software has been flashed into the ECM, or that the correct ECM is installed on the machine. If the diagnostic code is still active and the cause of the diagnostic code is not found, the ECM may have failed. It is unlikely that the ECM has failed. If the cause of the diagnostic code is not found, replace the ECM. See Testing and Adjusting, "Electronic Control Module (ECM) - Replace". Stop.
