Remove the crankshaft rear seal.
Remove the electric starting motor.
Remove the air starting motor.
Remove the turbocharger.

Remove bolts (1) that fasten the engine oil pan to flywheel housing (2).

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device on flywheel housing (3). The weight of flywheel housing (3) is approximately 105 kg (230 lb).
Remove bolts (4). Remove flywheel housing (3) from the cylinder block.
Remove gasket (5) from the flywheel housing. Installation Procedure
Install flywheel housing (3) in the reverse order of removal.
Install gasket (5) on the dowel pins of the cylinder block. Apply Tooling (B) to the bottom of the gasket to fill the space at the cylinder block, the flywheel housing, and the engine oil pan.

Tightening Sequence
In a numerical sequence, tighten Bolt (1) through Bolt (9) to a torque of 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).
In a numerical sequence, tighten Bolt (10) through Bolt (24) to a torque of 40 10 N m (30 7 lb ft).
In a numerical sequence, tighten Bolt (1) through Bolt (9) to a torque of 135 20 N m (100 15 lb ft).
In a numerical sequence, tighten Bolt (10) through Bolt (24) to a torque of 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft). End By:
Install the turbocharger, if necessary.
Install the electric starting motor.
Install the crankshaft rear seal.
