Pressurized system: Hot coolant can cause serious burn. To open cap, stop engine, wait until radiator is cool. Then loosen cap slowly to relieve the pressure.

The cooling system pressure cap is located under the access panel on the top of the engine cover.

Remove the cooling system pressure cap slowly in order to relieve pressure.
Inspect the cooling system pressure cap and the seal on the cooling system pressure cap for debris, for foreign material, or for damage.
Clean the cooling system pressure cap with a clean cloth. If necessary, replace the cooling system pressure cap.
Install the cooling system pressure cap.
