Put Tool (A), Tool (B), and the camshaft bearing (1) in position for installation. Put the camshaft bearing (1) in position with the bearing joint at the top. Put clean engine oil on the outside of the camshaft bearing.
Connect Tool (C) to Tool (B).
Move the camshaft bearing into position in the cylinder block. The camshaft is properly located when the groove around the outside is in the middle of the plugged hole. Refer to Illustration 2. Refer to the Specifications Manual, SENR4257, "Camshaft Bearings" for the correct dimensions in order to install the camshaft bearings.

Before you install the camshaft rear bearing, align the hole in the bearing so that the camshaft timing pin (2) can be put in position in the camshaft.
