Introduction
Adaptable to: R1700-114 to 194 R2800-169 & Up R2900-101 to 146Reference: Service Magazine SM0800, dated 30th April 1998 titled, Pressure Relief Valves are available for the Lift Cylinder Circuit to the Implement Valve. Details:A new 9EP1129 Pressure Relief Valve is available for retrofit to the implement valve circuit on R1700, R2800 and R2900 L.H.D.'s.Parts Required:
Please note that parts may vary depending on machine options.Rework Procedure:
1. Remove the hydraulic oil pressure from the hydraulic system as described in the appropriate Service Manual.Refer to illustration SI0807-01.2. Disconnect all hoses and fittings connected to manifold (1)3. Disconnect all the hoses and fittings connected to drain block (2), remove and discard drain block (2). Refer to illustration SI0807-02.4. Install new drain block (3) to implement valve (4).5. Install the fittings and hoses previously removed from the old drain block to new drain block (3).6. Fit new 2R6276 Nipple (5) to new drain block (3).7. Fit one end of new 0DE4300 Hose (6) to 2R6276 Nipple (5) in new drain block (3).8. Loosely install new manifold (7) to implement valve (4).9. Install 9EP1129 Relief Valve (8) to new manifold (7).10. Install the fittings and hoses previously removed from the old manifold to new manifold (7).11. Fit new 0307950 Elbow (9) to new manifold (7) and connect 0DE4300 Hose (6) to 0307950 Elbow (9).12. Tighten new manifold (7) to implement valve (4).13. Please insert a copy of the appropriate parts page SI0807-03 to SI0807-09 for future reference when ordering parts.14. Please make note in your Service Manual that the Relief Valve setting is 4500 50 psi (31025 345 kPa).
