Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
This procedure is for a left hand serviced oil filter housing.

Install Tooling (A). Use a suitable lifting device to install the oil filter housing. Put the oil filter housing in position on the front of the engine. Install seven bolts (1).
Connect tube (2) and tube (3) at the fittings on the front housing.
Ensure that all other tubes and hose assemblies have been connected to the oil filter housings. End By:
Install the oil coolers. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Coolers - Install". Installation Procedure 2

Install Tooling (A). Use a suitable lifting device to install the oil filter housings. Put the oil filter housing in position on the front of the engine.

Install bracket (1) after the oil filter housings have been put into position.

Install seven bolts (2).
Connect tube assemblies (3).

Connect harness assemblies (5).
Install bolt (4) and the clamp.

Ensure that all other tubes and hose assemblies have been connected to the oil filter housings. End By:
Install the oil coolers. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Coolers - Install".
