Open the engine hood (1). Attach a suitable lifting device to hood (1). The weight of engine hood (1) is approximately 60 kg (130 lb).

Remove cotter pins (3) and pin (4) in order to disconnect support (2) from the engine hood.

Use the suitable lifting device in order to support engine hood (1). Attach Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) to hood (1) in order to secure engine hood (1) in the open position.

Remove bolt (6) and position clamp (5) out of the way.

Apply a thin coating of Tooling (C) to the inside diameter of clamp (5). Position clamp (5) and install bolts (6) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to engine hood (1). The weight of engine hood (1) is approximately 60 kg (130 lb). Remove Tooling (A) and Tooling (B). Use the suitable lifting device in order to lower engine hood (1) .
