1. Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank. Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and (2) from charge filter (3). 2. Remove four bolts (4) and the washers, and remove the charge filter from under the frame. For the installation of the charge filter, reverse the removal steps.Disassemble & Assemble Charge Filter
Start By:a. remove charge filter 1. Remove plug (6), spring (5) and valve (4) from filter base (3). Remove O-ring seal (8) from plug (6).2. Remove two screws (2) and visual by-pass indicator (7) from the filter base. Check the two O-ring seals behind the visual bypass indicator for damage or wear and replace if necessary.3. If necessary, remove filter element (1) from the filter base. The filter element is a spin off type. When installing, tighten the filter element to a torque of 44 3.5 N m (32 2 lb ft). For the assembly of the charge filter, reverse the disassembly steps.End By:a. install charge filter
