PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Reference published procedure to clean out the hoppers if machine still contains asphalt without material feed charge pressure.
Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary.
1. Remove battery access doors from machine and set aside.
2. Remove batteries as found in Disassembly and Assembly.
3. Remove battery box.
4. Remove the 453-1060 Ventilation Stack As.
5. Remove the 337-0850 Upper Duct As.
6. Remove the 337-0847 Lower Duct As.
7. You now have access to pump.

8. Remove P-clamp and hose assembly (2) from bracket and move out of the way.
9. Disconnect four hose assemblies (7) from gear pump (5).
10. Remove the four bolts, the four washers, the clamps, and hose assembly (6) from gear pump (5).
11. Remove two nuts (4), the two washers, the two bolts, the two washers, and bracket assembly (3).
12. Remove two bolts (1), the two washers, gear pump (5), and the gasket.
13. When replacing the gear pump you will also need to replace the pump adapter on the engine. The following parts will be needed. For the AP1055F/AP1000F (HRC) S/N prefix TJ5, AC4 363-0171 Adaptor and 330-1714 Gasket. For the AP1055F (LRC) S/N prefix RLM 235-1063 Adapter and 102-2073 O-ring. Do not apply grease to the splines of the gear pump or to the gear during this replacement.
14. Install new 469-9121 Gear Pump. O-ring to be supplied with pump that seals the pump to the adaptor. Install gear pump (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Drain the oil in the line from the charge pump outlet (Image1.2.1) to the vibe valve prior to installing line on pump to aid in priming of pump on start up.
Reference Special Instruction M0072814 if needed to bleed the charge pump after replacement.
