Isolate the genset and remove the existing oil pressure sensor.
Assemble 4J-5309 O-Ring Seal to 380-1882 Pressure Sensor Gp.
Assemble the oil pressure sensor to the engine block and tighten to 10 N m (7 lb ft).
Adjust EMCP control panel settings as detailed below:
Connect Cat Electronic Technician (ET) to the EMCP.
From the menu bar select "Service" > "Configuration".
Within the Configuration Select: "Analog Input".
Change the analog input 1 configurable parameter "Maximum Data Range" in the EMCP to "600.000".The new sensor is adaptable to and effective with the serial numbers that are listed in Table 2.
