Install 8T-0861 Pressure Gauges on right forward main relief valve test port (3) and right reverse main relief valve test port (7) .
Apply the parking brake. Start the engine and run the engine at high idle. Make sure that the propel lever is in the neutral position.
Loosen the locknut and insert a 4 mm internal hex wrench in adjustment screw (4) .
Rotate the adjustment screw in the clockwise direction until the pressure increases in one of the two pressure gauges. Note the position of the wrench.
Count the number of turns of the wrench when you rotate the adjustment screw in the counterclockwise direction until the pressure increases in the other pressure gauge.
Turn the wrench clockwise by one half of the number of turns that were counted previously.
Hold the hex wrench and tighten the locknut to 6.8 N m (60 lb in).
Place the engine in low idle and stop the engine.
Remove the pressure gauges from test ports (3) and (7) .
Install the 8T-0861 Pressure Gauges on left forward main relief valve test port (5) and left reverse main relief valve test port (8) .
