Optional ship loose flexible 286-2586 Fuel Lines Gp installed on the 270-3507 Radiator and Fan Gp. Two holes are required in the 353-8989 Radiator Support Assembly that allow for mounting the 285-8515 Bracket required for installation of the optional flexible 286-2586 Fuel Lines Gp.If the flexible 286-2586 Fuel Lines Gp is required, inspect the 353-8989 Radiator Support Assembly for mounting holes and drill 2 holes as required.Solution

(1) 285-8515 Bracket
Inspect the 353-8989 Radiator Support Assembly and locate the area where 2 mounting holes are required to support bracket (1).

(A) Diameter 13.8 mm (0.543 inch)
(B) 60 mm (2.362 inch)
(C) 70 mm (2.756 inch)
(D) 125 mm (4.921 inch)
If the holes are not present, drill 2 holes using dimensions from Illustration 2.

(2) 5P-2566 Bolt
(3) 8T-4223 Hard Washer
(4) 6V-8188 Nut
Attach bracket (1) to the 353-8989 Radiator Support Assembly with two bolts (2), two washers (3), and two nuts (4).
Install the fuel and coolant lines as required.
