Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install gasket (11) on the engine.
Install aftercooler housing (10) and the bolts.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to aftercooler core (5). The weight of aftercooler core (5) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Install aftercooler core (5) and bolts (6) .
Install the O-ring seals, adapters (8), and adapters (9) .
Install gasket (7). Install aftercooler cover (2) and bolts (4) .

Install elbows (3) .

Install elbows (1) on aftercooler cover (2) .
Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities".
