Remove input adapter (A) from the torque converter by loosening the 16 half inch bolts and washers (B) .Note: The weight of the input adapter is 36 kg (80 lb).
Remove and discard two O-ring seals (1) .
Install input adapter (A) with 16 bolts and washers (B). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 120 15 N m (90 10 lb ft).
