(9) High-pressure fuel line
Hand tighten high-pressure fuel line (9) to high-pressure fuel pump. To help line up the high-pressure fuel line and start the threads into the mating port in the high-pressure fuel pump, consider the following tips:
Loosen and remove the junction block bolts.
Loosen the bolts between the junction block adapter-plate to cam-cover.
Use a pry bar between the junction block and high-pressure fuel pump manifold to help the high-pressure fuel line align with the port in the high-pressure fuel pump.

Crow foot style torque wrench
Use 27 mm (1 - 1/16 inch) crow foot to tighten high-pressure fuel line nuts at each end.Intermediate torque for line nuts ... 38 N m (28 lb ft)
Use 27 mm (1 - 1/16 inch) crow foot to tighten high-pressure fuel line nuts at each end.Final torque for line nuts ... 100 N m (74 lb ft)

Tighten the high-pressure fuel junction block to adapter plate with the original hardware.Torque bolts ... 25 N m (18 lb ft)

Install the oil feed line (10) in to the high-pressure fuel pump adapter fitting (11). Replace the 228-7091 O-Ring Seal if necessary.

Install the coupler onto high-pressure fuel pump shaft.

Install the fuel transfer pump onto the high-pressure fuel pump with the original hardware. Replace the following seals if necessary.

Install the low-pressure fuel lines at (G), (H), and (J). Use a wrench to resist rotation on mating O-ring face seal (ORFS) fittings. Inspect the ORFS O-rings and replace if necessary.

Prior to connecting the low-pressure fuel line at (K) consider carrying out Low-Pressure Fuel System Flush procedure in the System Operation and Testing and Adjusting manual.
Install and tighten any remaining low-pressure fuel lines.
Install the wire connectors to the fuel rail pressure sensor, the fuel rail temperature sensor, and the FCV.
Prime the fuel system before starting the engine.
