Information:
start by:a) remove flywheel 1. Remove crankshaft rear seal with tooling (A).Install Crankshaft Rear Seal
1. Install the crankshaft rear seal with tooling (A) as follows:
TYPICAL EXAMPLEa) Install the locator assembly (3) and screws (2) on the crankshaft.b) Put clean SAE 30 engine oil on the lip of the seal and the seal pilot (1). Put the seal on the seal pilot (1) with the thicker part of the seal outer metal shell toward the flywheel. Put 8M8059 Loctite Sealant on the outer metal shell of the seal. Slide the pilot (1) on to the locator assembly (3) and the crankshaft.c) Put the seal installer ring (6) on the pusher plate (5) and slide the pusher plate on to the stud of the locator assembly (3).d) Put clean SAE 30 engine oil on nut (4) and install nut on stud of locator assembly (3).e) Tighten the nut (4) until the seal makes contact with the bottom of the bore.2. Remove tooling (A).end by:a) install flywheel
