Illustration 1 g06306873The support bar located in the buss bar compartment area may come loose. The potential exists for the support bar to come in contact with the generator buss bars.Solution

Coat the support bar in liquid rubber, or install an insulation sleeve onto the door rod.
Relocate the ball swivel that houses the support arm to the top right corner of the metal frame inside the circuit breaker compartment.

Drill a ½ inch hole into the compartment door flange for the support rod to prop open the buss bar access door.

Drill a hole in the end of the support rod, and install a cotter pin to secure the rod when the door is open.

Mount a standard clip rod holder on the top of the metal compartment to secure the support rod during storage.
