Interior View of Door Pull and Ring (3) Door Latch (4) "C shaped" Retaining RingA door pull (2) is located in the UPS System. See Illustration 1 for a representative location. The door pull (2) is a circular black plastic cylinder that is a fitted assembly through a hole in the door (1). The door pull (2) is held in place by a "C shaped" retaining ring (4) .Removal Procedure
Open the cabinet door (1) by turning the two door locks that are located at the top and bottom right of the door. Use a hex key.
Locate the "C shaped" retaining ring (4) that is located on the back side of the door (1) that holds the door pull (2) to the door (1). Refer to Illustration 2.
Spread the "C shaped" ring (4) open. Remove the ring.
Slide the door pull (2) straight outward from the front of the side door (1) .Installation Procedure
Open the cabinet door (1) and locate the hole near the middle of the door (1) on the right side.
Retrieve the new door pull (2) and insert the door pull flat side first into the hole from the front of the door (1) .
Spread the "C shaped" retaining ring (4) and slip the ring over the door pull from the back side of the door (1) .
Seat the door pull (2) firmly against the door (1) so that a groove is visible all the way around the cylinder.
Release the spreader so that the "C shaped" ring (4) firmly seats in the groove.
