Measure the thickness of wear pads (9) on the height adjuster group. Replace the wear pads if the wear pads are less than 2.00 mm (0.079 inch) thick.
Loosen nut (11) .
Set the gap from the top of wear pads (9) to the top of adjusters (10) to 12.0 mm (.47 inch).
Tighten nut (11) to a torque of 200 40 N m (150 30 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (B) to the surface of wear pads (9) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to height adjuster group (5). Install height adjuster group (5), pin (7), and bolt (8). The weight of height adjuster group is approximately 152 kg (335 lb).
Apply Tooling (C) to locks (6). Install the locks and nuts (4) .

Install pin (2) and bolt (3) .
Connect hose assembly (1) .End By:
Install the burner group in the main screed. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Burner Group (Main) - Install".
Install the vibratory group in the main screed. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Vibratory Group (Main) - Install".
