Thoroughly clean the bore in the cylinder head for the wiper seal and the outside diameter of the wiper seal. The cylinder head and the wiper seal must be free of oil, grease, or solvent.
Apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound on the outside diameter of the new wiper seal before installation.
Wipe off the excess compound after installation of the wiper seal.Note: Improvements to cylinders are effective with the revision number on the cylinder. The part number and the revision number are located on the cylinder barrel.
