Removal Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Thoroughly clean the area around the valve mechanism cover in order to prevent the entry of foreign matter into the cylinder and valve mechanism. After the valve mechanism cover is removed, put a clean cover over the opening in order to prevent the entry of airborne dust and abrasive particles.

Remove bolt (2) and the washer that holds breather assembly (1) in place.
Remove breather assembly (1), the fumes disposal hose, and the O-ring seal as a unit. Note: Ensure that all harness assemblies are disconnected before removal of the valve mechanism cover.
Remove bolts (4) and the lockwashers. Remove valve mechanism cover (3) and the integral seal. Installation Procedure
