Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head and the base assembly.

Install Tooling (B) in the cylinder head at Location (Z).
Apply Tooling (C) to base assembly (12).
Allow Tooling (C) to dry for three to five minutes.
Apply Tooling (D) to base assembly (12) and install base assembly (12) on Tooling (B). Note: The base assembly must be installed within ten minutes of applying Tooling (D).
Position base assembly (12) on Tooling (B). The weight of base assembly (12) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).
Install bolts (11) and bolts (13) finger tight.
Remove Tooling (B) and install remaining bolts (11). Tighten bolts (11) and bolts (13).
Connect the harness assembly to sensor assembly (10).
Install Tooling (A) in base assembly (12) at Location (Y). Install the gasket on Tooling (A).

Attach a suitable lifting device to core assembly (3) at Location (X) and install the core assembly on the base assembly and Tooling (A). The weight of core assembly (3) is approximately 35 kg (77 lb).
Install the gasket on core assembly (3). Position cover (1) onto Tooling (A).
Install bolts (2).
Remove Tooling (A). Install remaining bolts (2).
Install adapter (5) and bolts (4) in the base assembly.
Install tube assembly (9) and bolts (8) in cover (1).
Install adapter (6) and bolts (7) in cover (1). Install the hose onto adapter (6).
