1. Disconnect two hose assemblies (1).2. Disconnect four tubes (2).3. Fasten a hoist to elevator control valve (3).4. Remove three bolts (4) and elevator control valve (3). The following steps are for installation of the elevator control valve.5. Put elevator control valve (3) in position and install three bolts (4).6. Connect four tubes (2).7. Connect hose assemblies (1).Disassemble And Assemble Elevator Control Valve
Start By:a. remove elevator control valve 1. Remove bolts (2) and caps (1). Remove the O-ring seals from the caps.2. Remove springs (9) and springs (3).3. Remove tubes (4) and spacers (8).4. Remove retainers (5). Remove the O-ring seals from the retainers.5. Remove spool (7). The following steps are for disassembly of relief valve assembly (6). 6. Remove relief valve assembly (6).7. Remove nuts (10) and (11). Remove the O-ring seals from the nuts.8. Remove screw (19), spring (21), and valve (22).9. Remove plug (20) from body (13). Remove O-ring seals (25) and (12).10. Remove sleeve (23) from plug (20). Remove O-ring seal (14), the backup rings, and shims (15).11. Remove springs (16) and (24) and valve (18).12. Remove O-ring seal (17), backup ring (26), and orifice (27). The following steps are for assembly of the elevator control valve. The following steps are for assembly of the relief valve assembly (6).13. Install orifice (27), backup ring (26), and O-ring seal (17).14. Install valve (18) and springs (16) and (24).15. Install shims (15), the backup rings, and O-ring seal (14). Install sleeve (23) on plug (20).16. Install O-ring seals (12) and (25). Install plug (20) in body (13). Tighten the plug to a torque of 95 14 N m (70 10 lb ft).17. Install valve (22), spring (21), and screw (19).18. Install the O-ring seals in nuts (10) and (11). Install the nuts. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 14 2 N m (10 1 lb ft).19. Install valve assembly (6). Tighten the valve assembly to a minimum torque of 270 N m (100 lb ft).20. Install spool (7).21. Install the O-ring seals on retainers (5) and install the retainers.22. Install spacers (8) and tubes (4).23. Install springs (3) and (9).24. Install the O-ring seals on caps (1).25. Install caps (1) and bolts (2). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 16 2 N m (12 1 lb ft).26.
