Remove the turbocharger.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove bolts (2), heat shield (1), bolts (4), and heat shield (5).
Disconnect tube assemblies (3).

Remove brackets (6) and (10).
Remove clamp assembly (7).
Remove and discard nuts (9). Remove the spacers and remove the exhaust manifold assembly (8).

Remove and discard clamp assemblies (17) and bellows (16).
Remove and discard nuts (19). Remove elbow (18) and remove the gasket (not shown).
Remove and discard clamp assemblies (12) and bellows (13). Separate the exhaust manifold sections (11), (14), and (15).
Remove temperature sensors (20). Installation Procedure
Install exhaust manifold assembly (8) in reverse order of removal.
Install new clamp assemblies (12) and new bellows (13).

Position the new bellows (16) and install new clamp assemblies (17) (not shown). Ensure that the end of the bellows with the taper (A-A) is facing the exhaust manifold.

Torque Sequence
Position the exhaust manifold into place and install Tooling (A) at Location (X).
Apply Tooling (B) on the threads of the new nuts (9). Tighten nuts (9) in the above sequence to a torque of 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft). Tighten nuts (9) again in the above sequence to a torque of 38 5 N m (28 4 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (B) on the threads of the new nuts (19). Tighten nuts (19) to a torque of 35 2 N m (26 2 lb ft).
