(E) 25 1.5 mm (0.984 0.059 inch)Note: Make sure that all of the parts are clean prior to installation. Remove all paint from mating surfaces.
If equipped, remove the drawbar group from the machine. The weight of the drawbar group is 114 kg (251 lb).
Remove guard assembly (11) from the machine.
Install two dowels (5) into the machine frame. The dowels should be installed to a depth of 25 1.5 mm (0.984 0.059 inch).
Use bolts (6) and washers (10) to install block assemblies (7) and (8). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 530 70 N m (390 51 lb ft).
Install four seals (4) onto mounts (7) and (8). Install the seals with the lips to the outside.
Use bolts (3) and washers (10) to install bracket assemblies (1) and (2). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 530 70 N m (390 51 lb ft).
Install fittings (9) .
Use bolts (12) and washers (13) to install guard assembly (11) .

Use pins (16), bolts (17), and locknuts (18) to install carriage assembly (14) to mounts (7) and (8). Tighten bolts (17) to a torque of 105 20 N m (77 15 lb ft).Note: Make sure that the holes in pins (16) are in alignment with the holes in carriage assembly (14) .
Put stands or blocks under the carriage assembly in order to hold the carriage assembly in a level position during assembly.

(F) 8.0 0.5 mm (0.315 0.020 inch)
Install bearing (26) into the head end of right hand cylinder (23). Install bearing (19) into the rod end of right hand cylinder (23). Bearing (19) should be installed to a depth of 8.0 0.5 mm (0.315 0.020 inch). Refer to dimension (F) in Illustration 4.
Install four seals (20) with the lips to the outside.
Use pin (22), bolt (24), and locknut (25) to install the head end of cylinder (23) to bracket (2). Tighten bolt (24) to a torque of 60 12 N m (44 9 lb ft).Note: Make sure that the holes in pins (22) are in alignment with the holes in bracket (2) .
Repeat Steps 11 through 13 for the other side of the machine.

Remove two plugs and two seals from the tubes at the rear of the machine. These items are used for shipping purposes only.Note: The items that are not numbered are components of the ripper lines.
Connect two tees (27) to the tubes at the rear of the machine.
Use two bolts (31) and two washers (32) in order to attach bracket (30) to the machine.
Connect tube assemblies (28) and (29) to tees (27). Connect the other end of tube assembly (28) to bracket (30) .
Use the following components in order to connect tube assembly (28) to bracket (30).
Two washers (35)
Elbow (36)
Nut (37)
Seal (38)
Attach seal (39) to elbow (36). Attach hose assembly (41) to elbow (36) .
Use union (33) and nut (34) in order to connect tube assembly (29) to

Repeat Steps 11 through 13 for the other side of the machine.
