Remove the low-pressure turbocharger.
Remove the high-pressure turbocharger.
Remove the exhaust gas cooler.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove five bolts (1) and bolt (4).
Remove bolts (3) and bracket (2).

Remove nuts (6) and spacers (5). Discard all nuts (6). Remove exhaust manifold (7).

Separate exhaust manifold sections (8), (9), and (10).Installation Procedure
Install exhaust manifold (7) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply a thin coat of Tooling (B) to the outside of the male ends that are on manifold sections (8) and (10). Assemble manifold sections (8), (9), and (10).

Torque Sequence
Apply Tooling (A) on the threads of new nuts (6). Install Tooling (C) at Location (X). Position spacers (5) and install nuts (6). Hand tighten nuts (6). Remove Tooling (C). Install remaining spacers (5) and nuts (6). Tighten nuts (6) in the above sequence to a torque of 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft). Tighten nuts (6) in the same sequence to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
