Select the type of "DATA IDENTIFICATION" that is to be programmed. Refer to Illustration 15.

Press the "OK" key. Configure PWM Outputs Using Cat Service Tool
OCP PWM outputs can be configured with Cat Service Tool. The key to programming PWM outputs is to program each set point that is related to each output in order from top to bottom. Perform the following steps to configure a PWM output.
Connect to the OCP using the Cat Service Tool.

Select "Analog PWM Outputs" (1) that is located on the left side of the dialog. Refer to Illustration 20.

Determine the PWM output (2) that is to be configured. For example, all of the set points for "PWM Output #1" have the text "#1" in the name. Double click the desired "PWM Output #N Enable Status" that is to be changed. Refer to Illustration 21. Note: The designation "#N" is a generic representation for a specific number. As in Illustration 21, N could represent output #1 or output #2.

The "Change Parameter Value" dialog will appear after the preceding step has been performed. Click on the down arrow for the "New Value". Click on the desired value to highlight the value from the drop-down menu. Illustration 22 shows that the value "Enabled" (3) has been selected. Click the "OK" (4) button on the dialog to accept the change.

The remaining parameters will now be displayed. Double click the "PWM Output #N Output Range" (5) that is to be changed. Click on the down arrow (6) for the "New Value". Click on the desired value (7) from the drop-down menu. Illustration 23 shows that 0 to 100% has been selected.
Click the "OK" button on the dialog to accept the change.

Double click the "PWM Output #N Data Identification" (8) to change the data identification value. Click on the down arrow (9) for the "New Value". Click on the desired value (10) from the drop-down menu. Illustration 24 shows that "Custom Parameter #1" has been selected.
Click the "OK" button on the dialog to accept the change.

Double click the "PWM Output #N Minimum Data Range" (11) to change the minimum data range value. The "PWM Output #N Minimum Data Range" dialog will appear. The dialog shows the value that is currently set (12) and provides a field to enter a new value. Enter the desired value in the "New Value" field (13).
Click the "OK" button on the dialog to accept the new value that has been entered.
