Removal Procedure
Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the cooling system is approximately 45 L (12 US gal).

Loosen clamp (3) and disconnect hose (4) .
Remove bolts (1) from housing (2) . Remove housing (2) .

Note: Record the quantity fo water temperature regulators that were removed.
Remove water temperature regulator (5) . Remove the gasket.Installation Procedure

Note: Install the correct quantity of water temperature regulators that were recorded in the removal procedure. Refer to the parts manual for the correct quantity of water temperature regulators for your machine or engine.
Install the gasket and position water temperature regulator (5) .

Position housing (2) and install bolts (1) into housing (2) .
Connect hose (4) and tighten clamp (3) .End By: Fill the cooling system with coolant. The capacity of the cooling system is approximately 45 L (12 US gal).
