Remove the boom. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Boom - Remove and Install".
Steps 2 through 7 are for the removal of the left side of the pipelayer frame.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the left hand side of pipelayer frame (1). The weight of pipelayer frame (1) is approximately 295 kg (650 lb).
Remove bolts (2) and remove cover (3).

Cut cable strap (4) and disconnect harness assembly (5).

Remove bolts (7) and plate (8). Remove pin (6).

Remove bolts (9) and plate (10). Remove pin (11). Repeat this step for the remaining pin (11).

Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to remove the left hand side of pipelayer frame (1).
Step 9 is for the removal of the right side of the pipelayer frame.
Remove the right hand side of the pipelayer frame. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Winch Frame - Remove".
