Information:
Installation Procedure
Verify that all of the components of the air control valve are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.
Inspect all the components for wear and replace the components, if necessary.
Illustration 1 g00560533Note: Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to all pipe plugs, nipples and fittings that are used during the installation procedure.
Position air control valve (7) to mounting plate (6) and the pedal assembly. Use two bolts (9) and the hard washers to secure air control valve (7) to mounting plate (6). Connect two hose assemblies (8) to air control valve (7).

Install four bolts (5) and the washers that secure mounting plate (6) and air control valve (7) to the floor of the cab.

Install a new tie strap (4) around the hose assemblies, as shown.

Position cover (2) to the bottom of the cab. Install five bolts (3) and the washers that secure cover (2) to the cab. Tighten five bolts (1) and the washers that secure cover (2) to the cab. End By:
Close the drain valves. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Tanks (Brake) - Purge".
