Change Filter Elements
Hot oil can cause burns.At operating temperature, the hydraulic tank is hot and under pressure.Remove the fill cap only when the engine is stopped, and the cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure.
1. Unlatch and open the hood to gain access to the filter. 2. Remove the bleed screw from the filter cover to relieve the pressure. Install the plug. 3. Remove the filter cover bolt. Remove the filter cover from the filter housing. 4. Remove the two used elements and the screen. Wash the screen and cover in clean, nonflammable solvent. Install the screen and two new elements. 5. Inspect the cover seal. Use a new seal if the used one is damaged. Coat the seal with clean hydraulic oil. Install the cover carefully to prevent damage. Tighten the bolt. 6. Maintain the hydraulic oil level between the ADD and FULL marks on the sight gauge.7. Start the engine and operate it at low idle to fill the filters.8. Check for leaks.9. Stop the engine and add oil if necessary.Transmission
Change Filter Element
Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
1. Remove the transmission filter housing drain plug. Allow the oil to drain.2. Remove the filter housing from the base.3. Clean the base and replace the seal if it is damaged. Coat the seal with clean transmission oil.4. Remove the element from the filter housing.5. Clean the housing.6. Install a new filter element in the filter housing.7. Install filter housing on the base.8. Clean and install the drain plug.9. Start the engine and operate it at low idle to fill the filter. Check for leaks. 10. Check oil level with the engine running at low idle.11. Maintain the oil level between the ADD and FULL marks on the dipstick.Fuel Tank Cap and Fill Screen
Clean Cap and Screen
1. Remove the fuel tank cap.2. Disassemble the cap and wash the parts in clean, nonflammable solvent.3. Squeeze the moisture from the element and oil it lightly.4. Inspect the seal. Replace the seal if it is damaged.5. Reassemble the cap. 6. Remove the strainer lock ring.7. Remove the strainer from the fill opening. Wash the strainer in clean, nonflammable solvent.8. Install the strainer and the lock ring.9. Install the tank cap.Fuel System

Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire.Turn the disconnect switch OFF or disconnect the battery when changing fuel filters.
Clean Primary
1. With the engine stopped, turn fuel line shutoff valve (1) to the off position.2. Loosen bolt (2) at the top of the base. Remove the case and element.3. Wash the case and the element in clean, nonflammable solvent.4. Clean the filter base. Replace the gasket if it is damaged.5. Install the filter element and the case.6. Turn the fuel line shutoff valve to the on position.Change Secondary
