Install bearing (17), piston (19), pistons (18), retainer (16), and bolts (15) .Note: The bearings and the shaft are not sold separately.

Install shim (14) and spring (13) into barrel (12) .

Raise the temperature of the housing.
Lower the temperature of rotating assembly (11) .
Install rotating assembly (11) .

Install shim (10) and O-ring seal (9) .

Install cover (6) .
Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (5) .

Install O-ring seal (3) and port plate (4) .

Install Tooling (E). With Tooling (F), measure the depth to the control plate. Take this measurement in more than one location. Tighten the bolt on Tooling (E). This will push the plate and the barrel downward. Continue downward until resistance is met. Do not use force. Again measure the depth to the plate. Record the difference between the two measurements. The difference should be 0.20 0.05 mm (0.008 0.0020 inch). This is the correct thickness of shim (17). Install Tooling (E) .
