New software for Product Link is now available. The new PL121 330-3408 Communication Software Gp replaces the former 325-6574 Communication Software Gp. The new PL300 330-3409 Communication Software Gp replaces the former 325-6576 Communication Software Gp .The new software for Product Link 121 has the following enhancements:
The new Product Link software will detect the keyswitch in the off position.
The radio will now shut down normally if the antenna is disconnected. The radio will shut down normally if there has been no satellite communication since the last powerup.The new software for Product Link 300 has the following enhancements:
The new PL300 software will now properly use the Engine Operating Status of "Running" or "Not Running", when the keyswitch is in the OFF position in order to determine if the SMH should be incremented.
Administration messages will not be sent before the module is registered.The new software for Product Link 121 and Product Link 321 has the following enhancements:
Multiple administration and registration messages are not reported unnecessarily.In order to utilize the full functionality, the system requires the latest version (2007Cv1.0) of Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET).
