Remove bolt (6), the washer, and three rubber bungs (7) .

Install Tooling (A). Tighten Tooling (A) evenly to remove upper collet (8) .
Repeat Step 5 for lower collet (10) (not shown).
Remove the pin and washers (9) (not shown).

Remove bolt (11) and position hose assemblies (12) out of the way.
Disconnect hose assembly (13) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to steering cylinder (1). The weight of the steering cylinder is approximately 87 kg (192 lb).

Disconnect hose assemblies (14) and (15) .
Remove nut (16) and three rubber bungs (17) (not shown).Note: Steps 13 and 14 enable access for tooling to remove the steering cylinder collet bolt.

Disconnect hose assembly (18) from the transmission.

Remove two nuts (19) and plate (20) from the left side transmission support.

Remove bolt (21), the washer, and three rubber bungs (22) .

Install Tooling (B). Tighten Tooling (B) evenly to remove upper collet (23) .
Repeat Step 16 for lower collet (25) (not shown).
Remove the pin and washers (24) (not shown).
