1. Disconnect wire harness (1). Remove seven nuts (3) and washers that hold housing assembly (2) in place. Remove housing assembly (2). 2. Remove three bolts (4) and washers that hold the fan motor group in place. Slide boot (6) on to the duct assembly. 3. Lift fan motor group (5) up and turn it on the side as shown.4. Disconnect wires (8) from the resistor. Disconnect wire (7) at the terminal connector.5. Remove fan motor group (5).Install Air Conditioning And Heating Fan Motors
1. Put fan motor group (1) in position as shown. Connect three wires (2) and (3) for the fan motor. 2. Put fan motor group in place and install three bolts (4) and washers that hold the fan motor in place.3. Slide boot (5) in its original position between the fan housing and duct assembly. 4. Put housing assembly (6) in place and install the seven washers and nuts that hold it in place. Connect wire harness (7).end by:a) install seatDisassemble Air Conditioning And Heating Fan Motors
start by:a) remove air conditioning and heating fan motors 1. Remove three nuts (3) and lockwashers. Remove motor (1), bracket, plates and wheel as a unit from housing (2). 2. Loosen setscrew (7) that holds wheel (4) to the shaft of the motor. Remove wheel (4) and plates (5) and (6) from motor (1) and the bracket. 3. Remove two bolts (9) and washers. Remove bracket (8) from motor (1). Remove the gasket. 4. Remove two screws (10), nuts and washers. Remove resistor (11) from housing (2).Assemble Air Conditioning And Heating Fan Motors
1. Install resistor (1) in housing (2). 2. Put gasket (5) and bracket (3) in position on motor (4). Install washers and nuts that hold the bracket to the motor. 3. Install plates (8) and (7). Put wheel (6) in position on the motor shaft. Tighten setscrew (9). 4. Make an alignment of the bolt holes in plates (7) and (8) with the bolt holes in bracket (3) for the motor. Install the gasket, wheel, plates, bracket and motor (4) as a unit in housing (2).
