Fasten a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B) . Use the lifting device and Tooling (B) in order to put track roller (1) in position.
Align the dowel in caps (2) with the hole in the roller shaft. Install cap (2) and bolts (3) on both ends of the roller.
Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 2200 200 N m (1623 148 lb ft). Tighten the abutment side of the cap first to the proper torque. This is marked on the cap "TIGHTEN FIRST".Note: Special Spiralock threads are used on the minor bogies on the D11N and the D11R undercarriage. Spiralock threads provide improved bolt retention. Use only special Spiralock taps to chase the threads in these tapped holes. The use of standard taps in these holes will eliminate the Spiralock feature. The use of standard taps could cause the bolts to loosen.
Lower the machine to the ground.
Remove Tooling (A) .
Adjust the track tension. Refer to Power Train Disassembly and Assembly, "Track-Connect" for the correct procedure.
