1. Install lock ring (7) on planetary shaft (1).2. Install sleeve bushing (4) in planetary gear (5). 3. Install spacer (3), gear (5) and spacer (6) in planetary carrier (2).4. Install planetary shaft (1) in planetary carrier (2). Be sure the flat side of the planetary shaft is facing toward the outside diameter of the planetary carrier, as shown.5. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for the installation of the other two planetary gears. End By:a. Install the final drive planetary carrier. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive Planetary Carrier (AD40 & AE40-129 to 172) - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
