Drain the fuel tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System Water and Sediment - Drain".

Disconnect hose assembly (1). Remove nut (2). Disconnect harness assembly (3).

Remove bolts (5) and handhold (4).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to fuel tank (6). The weight of fuel tank (6) is approximately 277 kg (610 lb).

Remove bolts (7) and guard (8).
Close fuel shutoff valve (11). Disconnect hose assemblies (10) and (12).
Remove bolts (9) from the fuel tank.
Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device to remove fuel tank (6).
