Use the down arrow key or the up arrow key until "Machine Type" is highlighted. Press the "OK" key. A dialog similar to illustration 1 appears.The following options are available under "Machine Type".
"Dozer" (default)
"Grader"
"Motor Scraper"
"Towed Scraper"
"Carry-all Scraper"
"Wheel Loader"
"Wheel Tractor"
"Compactor"
"Supervisor's Truck"
"Rubber Tire Dozer"
"Generic"Perform the following steps in order to select another machine option.
Press the down arrow key or the up arrow key in order to highlight the machine type you require.Note: If you change the machine type you must update the machine dimensions. Refer to Systems Operation, "Machine Dimensions" for more information.
Do one of the following:If you select any machine type other than "Generic" proceed to step 5.If you select "Generic" proceed to step 3.

If have you have selected "Generic" press the "OK" key. The dialog in illustration 2 appears.
Use the down arrow key or the up arrow key in order to select the slope value of the machine.Note: Calculated slope value uses GPS positions to compute the slope of the machine. Use this option for mobile machines. Fixed slope value assumes that the machine is always level. This means that any fore/aft slope is not taken into consideration. Use this option for stationary machines working on level platforms.
Press the "OK" key in order to save the settings.A dialog appears telling you that the machine type has changed and to check your machine dimensions.
Press the "OK" key in order to return to the "Setup Menu - Installation" dialog. The changes take effect immediately.
Enter your machine dimensions. Refer to Systems Operation, "Machine Dimensions" for more information.
Press the "ESC" key in order to exit the "Setup Menu - Installation" dialog. The changes take effect immediately.This completes the setup procedure for the Machine Type settings.
