1. Remove the vee belts from the engine. 2. Remove bolt (1) and washer (2) from the crankshaft. 3. Use tooling (A) to pull crankshaft pulley (3) from the crankshaft.Install Crankshaft Front Pulley
1. Install adapter (1) of tooling (A) in the end of the crankshaft.2. Put clean engine oil on the lip of the front crankshaft seal and seal surface of the crankshaft pulley.3. Make sure key (2) is in position in the groove (slot) in the crankshaft.4. Put the groove (slot) in pulley (3) in alignment with key (2) in the crankshaft. Put crankshaft pulley (3) in position on the end of the crankshaft. 5. Install screw (4) of tooling (A) in the end of the crankshaft. Put crossbar (5) of tooling (A) on the screw and against the pulley. Use tooling (A) to push the pulley on the crankshaft until it makes contact with the crankshaft gear inside the timing gear housing. Remove tooling (A).6. Install the washer and bolt in the end of the crankshaft. Tighten the bolt to a torque of 360 50 N m (265 37 lb.ft.).
