The standby pump panel is mounted by the customer.Wiring
Once the panel is mounted the customer must complete the wiring between the standby pump panel and the engine mounted terminal box. The customer also needs to complete the wiring to the engine mounted terminal box and the motor starters for the standby pumps.Note: 16 AWG wire is recommended for the wiring. Check local codes for types of insulation.Relay

The six relays have 2 sets of contacts. One set of normally open contacts are used in the standby pump panel circuit. The other set of normally open contacts are used to provide an auto start signal to the standby pump. The normally closed contacts are available at the terminal strip. The normally closed contacts are limited because the contacts are connected to the auto start contact. See Testing and Adjusting, "Wiring" for additional information.Note: The contacts are rated for the following values:
10 amperes at 24 VDC
30 amperes at 120 VAC
15 amperes at 240 VACTerminal Strip

The terminal strip consists of 27 individual terminal blocks. Each terminal block has 4 locations for wire terminations that are internally connected.
