PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Locate the machine in a clean environment in order to prevent oil contamination.
Secure the vehicle in a straight position using frame lock. Release pressure from the hydraulic circuit. It is also recommended to create a depression in the hydraulic tank to prevent oil spillage while opening lines.
2. Remove 245-1663 Hose shown in red (from the back of the RH Neutralizer to the main Steering Valve).

3. Install 6V-9830 Cap as. and 6V-8398 Seal on tee coming out of the steering valve.

4. Remove 124-1866 Hose and plug the connection underneath the hydraulic tank with 6V-9832 Cap and 6V-9746 Seal.

5. Install 6V-9839 Tee and 6V-9746 Seal on top of existing 164-5580 Brake Tee as (6V-9489 Tee).

6. Install 6V-9746 Seal, 6V-8942 Reducer and 9X6580 Nut on 6V9839 Tee assembled at step 5.

7. Install 250-0790 Hose As. with 6V-8398 Seal on 6V-8942 Reducer and 6V-8397 Seal on tee at back of RH Steering Neutralizer.

8. Remove 6V-9832 Cap As. installed underneath the hydraulic tank and install 246-4774 Hose As. using 2 6V-9746 Seals. Secure the hose with existing 6V-1889 Clip.

9. Adjust both steering neutralizer valves per Testing and Adjusting Manual, RENR8872.
10. Adjust hydraulic oil level. Disconnect the steering frame lock. Test the machine and check for leaks.
