PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. If the cab harness had been damaged, cut off the damaged portion of the wire.
2. Add new wire on to the cut portion by splicing. Refer to Image1.2.1 for an example of splicing.
All the wires must be in touch to each other on splicing. No open circuit is allowed.
Metal parts must be isolated on splicing. No short circuit is allowed.

3. Change the direction of the clip by 180 degrees. Refer to Image1.3.1.

4. Adjust the cable straps to update the harness routing to provide enough clearance between the harness and ECM. Refer to Image1.4.1.

5. Install new 266-0982 Guard. Tie the guard on the harness with two 7K-1181 Cable Straps. Refer to Image1.5.1.
