Install four gears (9). Install gear (10) .

Install plate (8) with screws (7). Tighten screws (7) to a torque of 25 5 N m (18 4 lb ft).

Install spacers (5), inner races (4), and bearings (3) .

Place a straight edge across ring gear housing (18), as shown.
Use Tooling (A) to measure Dimension (E) from the top edge of the straight edge to the top of the inner bearing race of one planetary gear. Record Dimension (E) .
Repeat Step 10 and Step 11 for the remaining two planetary gears.
Average the three recorded dimensions.

Use Tooling (A) and the straight edge to measure Dimension (F) from the top edge of the straight edge to the flange surface on the swing drive housing. Record Dimension (F) .
Repeat Step 14 for the two remaining planetary gears.
Average the three recorded dimensions.
Subtract the average of Dimensions (E) from the average of Dimensions (F). Compare the difference with the measurements that are listed in Table 2 in order to choose correct plate (1) for installation in Step 18.
